Cissy was one of John's daughters, and this page is dedicated
to her.
Cissie, Christened Cecilia, was born in 1876 and after finishing
her education, she became a banjo teacher and performer.
I am still researching her life, but I know she performed in several
theatres in Scotland and North East England around 1900. She is listed in the 1901 Census as a 'Banjo Teacher', so whether
she stopped performing, or did both, I'm not yet sure.
I have a couple of pictures of her which I show below. I don't
know anything about the Harpist, Tina.
